Senior Brand Manager: Category Development

We are recruiting a Senior Brand Manager- Category Development for our client who are experts in the proud craft of making paints and coatings, setting the standard in colour and protection since 1792. They are home to a world class portfolio of brands who are trusted by customers around the globe.

As a Brand Manager you will drive the category leadership position with priority customers in the consumer or decorator markets. You will collaborate with colleagues to deliver the ABR plan and specific brand health and market share targets, by creating compelling category strategies for customers. We will look to you to develop tailored category growth plans with key clients.

This will include:

• Defining optimum range, space, layout and navigation solutions as well as ensuring 'brilliant execution' along the path to purchase in both the physical and digital space.
• Building in-depth customer relationships, helping enhance Customer Marketing capability and raising category standards.
• You will also monitor category and customer performance as well as revise plans as required. Comfortable working within a matrix organisation structure, you will possess excellent project management, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
• You will lead, motivate and coach any direct reports to create a highly effective team culture

What we're looking for:

Results driven, you are consumer & customer focused and an effective communicator who excels at multi-tasking and is familiar with managing budgets. Experience gained working within FMCG, Retail or DIY industries alongside a proficiency in JDA. would be an advantage.
