An exciting opportunity has arisen for an x3 Kitchen Porters to join a passionate, fun, and hardworking team in Oxfordshire. Nestled in the picturesque Oxfordshire countryside, this hotel has been the touchstone of haute cuisine for over three decades. My clients aim is to create a centre of excellence in all of its many facets from the welcome to the service, from the garden to the rooms and not forgetting the unforgettable dining experience each of these facets are part of the overall success. We are looking for teamwork-orientated people to join the current hard-working team of Kitchen Porters to work alongside my clients award-winning Kitchen brigade. The guests and residents deserve the very best and every person helps them to achieve this. The ideal candidates must be able to remain calm under pressure, has great attention to detail and cares about all aspects of the kitchen.

The role…

  • Always uphold and maintain kitchen hygiene
  • Support chefs with kitchen preparation
  • Operate and maintain cleanliness of all machinery
  • Ensure basic cleaning jobs, such as the floors and work surfaces etc. are carried out as quickly and thoroughly as possible
  • Collect and wash up pots, pans, and cooking utensils in a timely manner
  • Unload food and equipment deliveries
  • Keep the storeroom well-organised
  • Keep work surfaces, walls, and floors clean and sanitised

You will be required to work 40 hours per week across Monday to Sunday including weekends. Shifts can vary but in general are 9.00am - 5.30pm and 3.30pm - midnight usually. Due to the remote location of the site own transport is required.
