£14.50 per hour (rising to £14.92).

Working as part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding sheet metal components for specialised plant and equipment. We are looking for someone with expertise in

Regardless of where you come from, you will need to be a team player and comfortable working in a fast-moving industrial environment. The main duties for this role are as follows:

• Ensuring that the manufactured plant and equipment meets the drawing specification and conforms to the quality standards and procedures.
• Assist in the design by informing the Foreman of incorrect or faulty drawings.
• Assist the Foreman with matter arising from the fabrication and welding of plant.
• Ensuring that the correct materials are issued for manufacture.
• Carrying out all duties, with guidance, but without constant supervision.
• On occasion, assisting colleagues with the brake press and guillotine.
  

You will be rewarded with a starting salary of £14.50 per hour - rising to £14.92 per hour after successful completion of your probationary period. You will work a 38.75 hour week, including an early finish on a Friday.
