About the role


Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Fabricator Welder.

You'll carry out the construction of bespoke fabrications for installation into motor vehicles using various types of machinery, metals and welding techniques.

Duties & responsibilities:
* Welding and working with ferrous and non-ferrous materials
* Operate machinery to produce components
* MIG and TIG welding both ferrous and non-ferrous materials
* Fabrication of bespoke components
* Working to job specification

What do I need to do the role?


You'll need an NVQ Level 2 (or extensive fabrication and welding experience).

Would also like you to hold experience in all or some of the following:
* Read and interpret engineering plans and diagrams.
* Good understanding of all metal types and properties.
* Removal and refitting of automotive parts and components.
* Effective verbal and written communication.
* Ability to work effectively under own initiative, or as part of a team to achieve desired results.

What else do I need to know?


  • The successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
