Talent Acquisition Advisor

The Administrator will work as part of the Talent Acquisition team and play a key role in supporting our objective to deliver a fast-paced recruitment service and award-winning candidate experience for all roles with our award-winning energy company

You will work in our Talent Acquisition team alongside other administrators and recruitment advisors. The ideal candidate will have excellent people skills and be able to work autonomously by using their own initiative.

Whilst the role is fast paced and varied you will benefit from working as part of a team which delivers around 800 external hires per year and is passionate about having an award-winning candidate experience in the future making every interaction we have with our candidates memorable.

Location: A mix of home and office-based working in a covid-19 safe environment. Annesley NG15 0DR

Salary: £12.42 an hour

Contract: Ongoing

Holiday: You'll start with 28 days pro-rata annual leave year, but after 12 weeks this will increase to 34 days pro-rata (including bank holidays)

Role's & Responsibilities:

  • CV sourcing and sifting
  • Scheduling interviews and updating schedules for assessors
  • Manage PRTW document collection at interview stage
  • Creating & Producing contracts
  • Inputting new starters in SAP for payroll purposes and responding to payroll queries.
  • Supporting Line Managers with process queries
  • Supporting policies on Redeployment, Diversity and Inclusion and reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process
  • Manage the admin feedback process for Internal & external applicants
  • Support the wider resourcing team when appropriate
  • Responding to queries and emails from our central careers mailbox & live chat service


Essential skills required:

  • Previous experience of working in a fast-paced administration or customer role.
  • You will be highly organised
  • Ability to deliver an excellent candidate experience likely to have been gained through exposure to a range of customer facing experiences and challenges.
  • Excellent people and communication skills, with an ability to interact at all levels (Verbal and written)
  • An understanding of recruitment and sourcing skills - desirable
  • Previous knowledge of using an ATS (Applicant tracking system) - desirable
  • Influencing skills
  • Excellent Team worker
