My client is 37 years in business within laboratory instrumentation. They have exclusively partnered with the ManpowerGroup Ireland to find the best talent for their business. I am recruiting for a technical support specialist. This would suit an individual who has a background being a Lab technician or an Instrument technician.
Specific Duties
- Responsibilities for planning calibrations and validations
- Work with service coordinator to arrange site visits
- Ensuring correct spare parts and appropriate in calibration test equipment ready for each site visit.
- Preparing quotes for service proposals and repairs.
- Maintaining and updating our company database and service database with new customers and service jobs and all relevant information

- Ensure compliance with all aspects of our service, calibration, and general quality management procedures at all times.
- Commit to a continuous learning regime with a view to always building on your own personal knowledge and expertise.
- Answering technical queries from customers.
- Documenting PV results and producing reports/certificates.
Required Experience
- Two Years' experience as an instrumentation technician.
OR
- Two years' experience as laboratory technician
OR
- Suitable prior experience in a relevant field preferably in a gravimetric and or temperature arena.
- Ability to travel within Ireland and abroad where necessary.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and
- organizational skills.
