Here at Babcock International, we are looking to recruit a Fleet Administrator to join the Phoenix Fleet Management Team providing a leading service to customers worldwide and managing approx. 16,000 vehicles. This role requires you to support the Operations Team Leader to validate legal and compliance data on the businesses new Clarity Manager IT system.

As a Fleet Administrator, your duties will include providing administrative support to a wide variety of vehicle-focused activities including scheduling, maintenance and incident management if required. You will validate vehicle data within Clarity Manager as per matrix and identify any overdue, missing or incorrect data. You will ensure vehicles are booked in for scheduled maintenance and you will report any problems with this.

Other responsibilities will include liaising with both suppliers and customers where needed both verbally and by e-mail. You will ensure that processes are maintained in line with Babcock's corporate governance policies and procedures including those relating to Health and Safety, Quality and the Environment. You will process daily reports received from suppliers with accurate data and within KPI requirements.

What do I need to do the role?

You will need previous experience within a customer-facing role. You will also need to be educated to GCSE level at grade C minimum.

We would also like you to have:

  • Advanced Excel skills to be able to process large amounts of data. You will also need to be confident on all other MS Office Applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint)
  • Knowledge of car servicing/MOT's or vehicle leasing would be valuable, but is not essential.
  • Ability to handle constantly changing flow of traffic; remain productive during slow times, being able to multitask effectively during busy times.
  • Experience of fleet management is desirable, but not essential.

Lastly, you will demonstrate excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

What else do I need to know?

  • The successful candidate will need to satisfy Ministry of Defence security requirements. This may require you to hold or be eligible/capable of achieving 'Security Check' (SC) clearance.
  • There will be some working from home for the time being, however this could change and you will be required in the office during training.
