About the role:

This is a Customer Service Advisor role in the contact centre in Kingswinford. You will be joining the Out of hours emergency call out team, taking in-bound calls and booking emergency appointments in for our technicians where customers are off supply or facing vulnerability. As a front-line customer service advisor, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, in a fast-paced environment.

You'll initially join us on a temporary basis, but there may be the opportunity to become a permanent employee later.

  • Initially the pay will be £9.75 per hour with the chance for it to later rise to £11.32 per hour dependant on your performance.
  • You'll start with 28 days pro-rata annual leave year, but after 12 weeks this will increase to 34 days pro-rata (including bank holidays)
  • Great support systems in place like mental health first aiders, well-being warriors and one-to-one support meetings to drive your progression.
  • Mostly home working, with office working every few weeks for team building days. Training however will be onsite.

About you:

Ideally, you will already have some previous experience working in a customer service and/or contact centre role.

Naturally you will have great communication skills and will be comfortable handling a large amount of calls each day with both customers and colleagues.

You will also have the ability to deal with challenging situations in a professional and empathetic manner.

You are capable of processing and reacting to change in a proactive way in line with changing regulations.

This is a part time position looking for cover to support the weekends, Saturday 8am - 6:30pm and Sunday 9am - 5:30pm, this equates to 18 hours per week. There may be extra hours available to be picked up in the week if you are looking for more.
