About the role

Here at Babcock Education we are looking to recruit a Business Development Administrator on a Fixed Term Contract until July 2022.

The main purpose of your role will be to provide administrative support for the provision and delivery of high quality CPD events, manage booking requests and be the first port of call for training and conferences customer enquiries.

Key Tasks and Activities:

  • Event set up on our Shop, online or in person training.
  • Processing and tracking event bookings
    * Analyse and report delegate evaluation feedback
    * Answer calls and customer enquiries
  • Understanding new products/services
    * Invoice coding and setting up suppliers
    * Audit of resources and replenishing as needed
    * Provide support across business development team as required
    * Carry out additional tasks in line with business needs


What do I need to do the role?

You will need to be able to provide excellent customer care and service with excellent written and spoken communication skills. You will require the ability to work independently and as an effective team member and the ability to problem solve and use own initiative.

We are looking for someone who is organised and able to prioritise and multi-task, who assumes responsibility and accountability for deadlines and demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy in the work performed.

You should be IT literate and competent in Excel, Word and Email packages with the ability to maintain and manipulate Excel spread sheets and a good understanding of database management and data reporting.

We would also like you to have experience in the following:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Remain calm under pressure
* Flexibility to respond to evolving business needs
* Uses initiative but applies escalation protocol
* Able to work to deadlines, manage multiple activities /customer demands.
* Confident manner when dealing with colleagues, and internal and external customers.
