Our client G is a leading global consumer goods company whose winning brands are built around the model of innovation.

The role will be to support the Intersite and customer freight operations in the UK. The aim is to build the truck fleet which will be based in the Operating Center at London DC.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operation License holder for 20 trucks (40 trailers fleet).
  • Preparing the organization to obtain an Operating License (employee training, procedures development, etc)
  • Developing the full package of operational documents: driver instructions, service schedule, Insurance renewals etc
  • Making sure vehicles are properly maintained. Inspecting vehicles.
  • Arranging repairs and routine maintenance.
  • Ensuring that all drivers and operators have the correct, up to date qualifications.
  • Ensuring robust operations on Intersite and Customer freight lanes.
  • Budgeting of the cost end to end in collaboration with finance.
  • Maintaining cost as per forecast / glidepath.
  • Ensuring no driver attrition above target set.
  • Securing on-time delivery of orders and that no regulatory issues arise.
