My client is looking for an accomplished Manager to take overall ownership of their Stockport facility, who will lead the day-to-day running of the plant. You will be joining a team of dedicated professional within a global operation and by nature, you will be a like-minded Manager with a hunger to succeed.

The key responsibilities for your new role are as follows:

• Championing safety and ensuring the site is operating in a safe manner.
• Driving a culture of total customer satisfaction.
• Creating budgets and forecasts for the site, whilst liaising with the sales team.
• Delivering the agreed P&L for the site, in conjunction with the Operations Manager.
• Responsibility for all site KPIs and delivery of improvements in-line with the site's business plan.
• Management of all departments, including production, quality, customer service, engineering and administrative functions.
• Management of all site personnel, including communication, training, appraisal and disciplinary.
• Producing monthly reports for the site and analysing key variances to the P&L and actioning accordingly.
• Striving to achieve a world-class working environment for all employees.
• Maintaining site quality accreditations and identifying opportunities for further accreditations, based on market requirements.

My client is keen to hear from people with excellent operational / management experience, a track record or delivering continuous improvement projects and the vision to lead the site to a world-class level of service. You may already be operating as a Works, Operations or Production Manager or perhaps you are an ambitious Technical Manager, with potential, who is now looking to take a step up.

Regardless of where you come from, you will be results orientated, have strong coaching and mentoring skills and the ability to extract employee potential, at all levels.

In return, my client is offering an excellent remuneration package, including a basic salary of up to £55,000, with a £5,400 yearly car allowance 35% performance bonus. What's better still, you will also benefit from life assurance, health insurance, matched pension of up to 10%, sick pay and 25 days holiday per year, plus Bank holidays. My client may also provide relocation assistance for exceptional candidate with the ability to get up-to-speed quickly.
