My Client is one of the fastest growing suppliers of LPG in the UK & still growing its Customer base daily, with YOY consistency in their growth plans, proving to be a highly successful business that places it's people at the heart of the organisation.

I am currently supporting this Client with a rare opportunity for a Hazardous Area Electrician, based out of their Knowsley Plant, covering the UK.

What does the role look like?

  • Successfully completing Electrical inspections of customer installations.
  • Delivery of initial Installations of new customer LPG/LNG plants.
  • Carrying out Electrical assembly of LPG vaporisers and skid units
  • Working away from home for 3-4 nights per week based on the geography of the Customer base (all expenses covered)

What do you need to succeed in your application?

  • You are an approved electrician. (with full accreditation / apprentice trained)
  • Inspection and testing city & guilds, either 2391, 2394 and 2395 or 2391-52.
  • BS7671 18TH Edition.
  • It would be desirable but not essential that you already hold Electrical equipment in hazardous areas and explosive atmospheres (COMPEX) MODULES EX01, EX02, EX03, EX04 (full training can be given to successful candidate if they hold all of the other required certs)
  • Familiarity with NICEIC reporting and certification would be useful in this role
  • It is preferred that you already hold a gas safety passport, CCSNG safety passport or JIB safety passport - but this can be gained once on board.
  • As this is a national role, a work van is provided, therefore you must hold a full & valid driving license (minimal points will be accepted)

As a national role, it is expected that nights out will be required as part of the role. It will be expected that there will be an average of 3 nights out per week.

  • Accommodation & meals will be provided for by your new Employer & if out over 3 nights per week, an additional overnight allowance will be paid, in addition to your subsistence rates.
  • Overtime is also paid at enhanced rates whilst away - so an opportunity to significantly increase your salary too.

If this sounds like the role you have been looking for & you believe you have the required skills & qualities to deliver an excellent service in this role, then click apply now & I look forward to receiving your application.
