Category Lead
Location: Faslane, Helensburgh

About The Role
Here at Babcock International, we are looking for a Category Lead to join us.
As Category Lead you will have responsibility for a spend profile of between £30 - £50M across various categories of spend.
Your role is to segregate that spend and target the areas where we can gain maximum value. Using analytics, you will create and deliver procurement strategies for the categories you are responsible for ensuring all relevant stakeholders are engaged throughout the process.
We are currently developing a new operating model which means that initially, you will focus locally within Clyde but going forward, responsibilities may broaden into a Business wide position with associated additional spend responsibilities.
What else do I need to know?
We support agile working and this role offers remote working with the requirement to visit site occasionally.
HM Naval Base Clyde is located 6 miles north of Helensburgh in the West of Scotland. We are well placed for commuter links to Glasgow and the wider region, but it is recommended for employees to travel by car due to the location.
Security Clearance
All applicants must have or be able to obtain SC security clearance
