Our client, one of the UK's leading Energy providers is looking to recruit a Technical Administrator within their Technical Client Organisation. The successful candidate will be a part of a new exciting business unit based at our client site in Barnwood, Gloucester, and will be responsible for demonstrating the following:

  • Support with Management & Monitoring Activities
  • Support ONR Topic Lead with preparation for ONR Engagement Activities
  • Support technical leads with surveillance tasks
  • Support management of assessment findings
  • Undertake junior technical work under appropriate supervision
  • Support GL and BM with raising and approving requisitions in CEMAR
  • Support GL and BM with Branch finance and approval in SAP
  • Support GL and BM in Accountability - produce branch accountability pack (details can be agreed)
  • Support GL and BM in managing the Business plan resourcing tool
  • Accountable for the successful acceptance of document batches on TeamCenter and delivery to Project Manager;
  • Maintain Contract Distribution tables for the Technical Leads;
  • And provide support on number of other branch ad-hoc activities.

Knowledge Skills Qualification Experience

  • Technical and analytical skills;
  • Attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Lots of initiative, good people skills and 'can do attitude';
  • Strong communication skills, including planning, presentation, communication and mediation skills;
  • Experience in reporting and sharing information to upper management;
  • Previous team support experience;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Power Point;
  • Desire to learn and develop;

Desirables

  • Experience of Information Management on complex capital projects with extensive interfaces between business functions, processes & systems with a large dependency external partners;
  • Previous experience working in the energy industry

Please note; if successful you will be employed by Manpower working on a temporary ongoing basis for 12 months with scope for extension. Our client is operating a Hybrid working model, therefore the need to be onsite a number of days a week is essential but there is scope to WFH. You will be expected to undertake a drugs and alcohol test as well as be security checked to BPSS and CTC Level.
