About the role

The main purpose of the role is to support Babcock's IT Security, as well as other members of the IT Security community throughout the Babcock Group.

You will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and be able to articulate, advise and influence DRDL and its projects on the relevant IT security standards, policies and requirements.

You will also be required to:

  • Investigate IT security events and incidents, and manage these and other requests.
  • Assist in the development and review of User Standard Operating Instructions (USOI) and Security Operating Procedures (SyOPs).
  • Carry out IT based risk assessments and raise Risk Balance Cases.
  • Participate in Security Working Groups when requested.

What do I need to do the role?

You will come from an IT background.

You will also have an interest in IT security, and possess good communication skills.

What else do I need to know?

  • The successful candidate will need to satisfy security requirements. This may require you to hold or be eligible/capable of achieving 'Security Check' (SC) clearance.
