My Client is a provider of tools, plant machinery and equipment hire, based in the United Kingdom, and also provides services to the construction, infrastructure, industrial markets. Through their constant growth & success in the marketplace , along with the procurement of new & advanced machinery, I am currently looking to introduce a number of Technical Trainers to join the Team with knowledge of:

  • IPAF
  • Crane/ Lifting
  • Powered Access

all lifting equipment and technical training work within the inspection team covering the Northern territory of the UK. My Client supports thousands of customers every year providing them with a first-class service and helping ensure they can successfully deliver their projects. Behind the scenes work never ceases to ensure the Customer expectation is consistently met and exceed - that's where you come in!

What you will need:

  • Proven experience in lifting and materials handling
  • Knowledge of lifting regulations including: Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER), Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER), The Health and Safety at Work Act, BS 7121
  • Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) Qualifications are desirable

You will be delivering on or all of these courses to ensure the correct maintenance & repairs are completed by the Workshop Engineers:

  • Overhead Crane Operation;
  • Inspection of Portable Lifting Equipment;
  • Rigging and Slinging
  • Chain Blocks
  • Sling/Small Sling/Webbing Sling

What's in your work skills?

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience maintaining, servicing and inspecting lifting equipment
  • Knowledge of lifting regulations including: Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER), Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER), The Health and Safety at Work Act, BS 7121
  • Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) Qualifications are desirable
  • Applicants wanted for specific course delivery of LEEA accredited bespoke training courses.
  • PTLLS would be desirable
  • Additional Health and Safety qualifications such as IOSH and/or NEBOSH would be an advantage.

This role would suit someone who has been an engineer or technician & has worked to fault find & repair the machinery & can deliver the materials on the basis of supporting knowledge. My Client are happy to train in the relevant accreditation's & want to help you develop and progress; but you will need to demonstrate these skills and attributes for us to be able to support you…

You will be covering the North West to South East of the UK, so must be comfortable with travelling & occasional overnight stays.
