Exciting opportunity on offer for a design engineer looking to use their 3D modelling skills in a futuristic way and get involved with exciting technology.

About the role


In this role, you'll create 3D models which are used in a variety of digital outputs including VR presentations. You'll work alongside customers to identify and develop work scopes and improvements in production support. You will focus on driving new technologies and develop how they integrate with business technology.

What do I need to do the role?

You will need a solid background and skill set in 3D design however this can be from any environment. Skills using packages such as Inventor, SolidWorks etc are desired.

Ideally you will be qualified to HND or degree level in an appropriate Engineering Discipline. However, consideration will be given to an applicant who has significant/transferable experience in a relevant engineering based subject or role.

We would also like you to have experience in the following areas:
* Experience of configuration management tools (PDM/PLM)
* Excellent communications and presentational skills.
* Knowledge of design for manufacture.

What else do I need to know?
* The successful candidate will need to satisfy Ministry of Defence security requirements. This may require you to hold or be eligible/capable of achieving 'Security Check' (SC) clearance.
