Panel Wireman - They Need YOU!

Have you had previous experience working as a Panel Wireman?

Can you undertake a range of electrical and mechanical assembly builds?

Would you be prepared to go away for training for 3 to 4 weeks, all expenses paid? With a weekly enhancement payment to boot!

Overview

You will be responsible for undertaking a range of electrical and mechanical assembly builds within a varied portfolio of projects, including but not limited to: -

  • PLC & HMI Switchgear cabinet build
  • Panel/Rack Build
  • Cable Harnessing
  • Wiring Looms
  • Box Build

Quality of production build is key whilst delivering on challenging timelines as part of a team of a multi-skilled production team.

  • Understanding electrical drawings/schematics
  • Panel Build
  • Cabinet Wiring
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Soldering
  • Manufacturing

Desired skills & experience

  • To understand Company policies, procedures and other relevant correspondence, drawings and metric and imperial measurements, a basic understanding of written and spoken English along with basic mathematics is required.
  • Ideally an electrical / electronic apprenticeship or NVQ level 2 or above attained in a similar role.
  • Experienced and competent in panel work to a high standard: - Panel build / wiring to electrical regulations and standards such as BS7671, Part EN60204, EN61010, ENEC, UL/FCC or other relevant standards.
  • Looming and cable harnessing.
  • Electrical and mechanical assembly.
  • Interpreting detailed schematics.
  • Basic testing and fault finding.

Aptitude / skill required.

  • Good hand and eye coordination.
  • Ability to concentrate for long periods of time.
  • Capability of working to strict tolerances and deadlines.
  • Manual dexterity.

Training required

  • On the job training will be provided, which will require travel to Gloucester - all expenses paid for 3 to 4 weeks

Shift Details

  • Monday - Thursday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
