About the role:
Here at Babcock International, we're looking to recruit an experienced Production Supervisor / Front Line Manager to join the team at our Vehicle Engineering department in Walsall who deliver state of the art vehicle engineering and modification support to the UK's Emergency Services.

You will be responsible for the effective management of production, including the supervision of manpower and allocation of work in an efficient and cost effective way.

Further responsibilities include:
* Control and motivate staff to eliminate time wasting and to achieve maximum potential from production staff.
* To ensure all products are to the highest standard to technical and customer requirements, and are 'passed off' before movement to other departments.
* Work with other departments to improve quality, efficiency and processes.
* Manage quality from outside suppliers, and raise non-conformity forms for any non-conformances.

What do I need to do the role?
You must have previously worked in a supervisory role within a fast paced automotive / production environment, we can also consider candidates from out with Automotive who have the necessary production / manufacturing supervisory experience

You will also have proven experience in production line functions, and leading groups of people.

What else do I need to know?
Working hours are 40 per week, with an early finish on Fridays.
