Estimator

Manpower is recruiting an Estimator with our manufacturing client who work in the concrete industry

Based in Ballymena, you'll be joining a locally grown concrete manufacturer who supply pre cast products across construction, civils and agri markets.

Mon to Fri 8am to 5pm

The Role

• Ensure that customer enquiries, BOQ's and Tenders are priced accurately from drawings and bar schedules and in the required timeframe
• Ensure these are recorded on the CRM system and followed up to win orders
• Ensure that orders are won at the best price possible
• Maximise sales opportunities, deal with enquiries and convert to orders to achieve the Company's Sales targets
• Provide accurate information to Planning, Production, Quality/Technical and Dispatch to ensure that technical requirements and time frames are met.
• Liaise with the Lead Estimator in identifying new product and market opportunities, which may be beneficial to the Company
• Attend exhibitions/trade shows/customer meetings/site visits and represent the Company when required
• Any other duties, within reason and capability, as agreed through consultation with the Lead Estimator/Sales Manager

What we are looking for

• Degree educated or similar experience in civil/ structural engineering
• Relevant estimator experience in construction or civils sector
• Professional approach with customers
• Excellent IT skills across Microsoft packages
• Strong attention to detail
• Preferably knowledge of pre cast structures or concrete industry
