We have a fantastic opportunity for 3 X Production Operatives to join our client who are one of the world's most broadly-based healthcare companies based in Blackpool, FY4 4QQ. Starting immediately this is a 6 month full time temporary role working Mon-Thurs (08:00 - 16:30) & Fri (08:00 - 13:00) - 37 hours a week, paying £9.62 per hour raising to £9.96 after 3 months' probation period.

The primary purpose of this role is to work as part of a team assembling and packaging in a clean room environment ensuring a high level of quality in all aspects of the products throughout the manufacturing procedure is maintained

PPE such as masks and gloves will be provided by the client, ideally you will own your own safety shoes. At all time employees in the clean room environment are required to wear full PPE.

The role will primarily involve:

  • Working mainly in clean room environment adhering to strict hygiene rules
  • Measuring of powder
  • Using QC scales
  • Making up product into packs
  • Sealing packs and packaging - operating small sealing machines
  • General upkeep of cleanliness throughout the entire production process

Responsibilities

  • Timely completion of all manufacturing operations ensuring adherence to company Quality standards and procedures.
  • Capability to multi-skill in other areas of production
  • Support with the training of new and existing employees as required.
  • Ensuring and maintaining good housekeeping within the workplace
  • To promote and maintain company Health and Safety and environmental standards
  • Calibration of weighing equipment where required
  • Observing gowning and hygiene regulations / procedures at all times
  • In addition, the ability to work as part of a team to achieve results.
  • The ability to work to a deadline, to cope under pressure and react to changing requirements.
  • To carry out such further tasks as may from time to time be delegated to me by my supervisor.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience of working in a clean room manufacturing environment is desirable
  • Strong dexterity and hand/eye coordination
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent quality awareness & Ability to perform independently
  • Numerate and literate & Computer literate
  • Good hygiene and cleanliness
  • Hardworking and reliable & Good attendance and timekeeping
  • Good interpersonal skills & Excellent Team Player
