About the role
Here at Babcock International we are looking to recruit an experienced Essential Skills professional to join our Training Division as an Essential Skills Tutor. We are a trusted name across the training and apprenticeships market and have an enviable track record in delivering intelligent and compelling workforce development solutions and are one of the UK's largest and most reputable training providers.
You'll be part of a large team of Apprenticeship Trainers and Assessors who provide training to numerous markets including Automotive, Warehousing, Facilities Management, Hospitality and Retail. For those with leadership flair, apprenticeships are also a great route for career development, including early progression into management.
Using your experience, you will design and deliver effective training solutions to all learners and employees who require Essential Skills qualifications. The role will require you to provide guidance & support to effectively support learners/ employees with the Essential Skills e-learning system.
You will visit the learners across Northern Ireland at their workplace and deliver teaching in Math's English and ICT on a one-to-one and group basis, as and when required, ensuring final end tests are completed within the timescales allowed.
This is a highly rewarding position working within a market leading organisation that support over 14,000 apprentices across the UK.
What do I need to do the role?
You'll need to be experienced as an Essential Skills Tutor and be qualified to level 4 in Maths, English and ICT.
We would also like you to have the following:
* Excellent presentation/facilitation/coaching skills
* Training design and delivery experience
* Have a valid driving licence and your own car
* Current knowledge of Learning & Development strategies
What else do I need to know?
* Salary is £25,106
* Travel expenses are covered.
* Permanent position, 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
