About the role

Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit an experienced Security Systems Electrical Fitter to join our Estates Maintenance team.

The role will predominately involve carrying out maintenance, repair and testing of fire alarm systems, which may also include specialised PA systems and nuclear alarms.

This is a great opportunity for someone with an apprenticeship or SVQ level 3 to come in and learn and develop in the role.

What do I need to do the role?

You will hold a recognised Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship, or be qualified to SVQ level 3 as a minimum.

You will also have previous experience of working within Fire Alarm/CCTV/Intruder alarm systems and a Health and Safety focused environment demonstrating experience of repairing and maintaining low voltage electrical systems.

You will show diligence and attention to detail when carrying out tasks to a high standard and have excellent team working and interpersonal skills.

What else do I need to know?

This role is based at HM Naval Base Clyde, located 6 miles north of Helensburgh in the West of Scotland. We are well placed for commuter links to Glasgow and the wider region, with easy access for car and public transport.

Successful candidates must be eligble to gain and maintain UK SC level security clearance for this role
