Manpower are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client based in Enfield, North London a Print Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis with an immediate start!
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £21,000
Required hours of work, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm.
Job overview:
The Print Assistant will support the achievement of our clients business goals by supporting the fellow members of the Print Shift to achieve their SLA's and ensure that the print quality is maintained. To aid the smooth running of the department to meet the planned schedules and customer specifications and expectations and department targets and goals.
They will also work as part of the despatch team, completing returns, creating, producing data, preparing, picking, and packing physical goods ready for Despatch.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Here's what your day-to-day will look like in this role:
- The main priority for this role on a day-to-day basis is to print orders on demand and ensure they're ready for despatch.
- Cutting, folding, and labelling to requirements.
- Loading of paper into the printers
- Printer calibrations
- Report any issues with the printers/quality to your line manager or designated person
- Entering adjustments into company business system ready for printing.
- To create data and installation of CD/DVD ROMS using specialist CD creation hardware.
- To set up PC base units, Laptops for customers, with all relevant software.
- The role will include receiving and booking in received goods, location of goods and fulfilling the necessary paperwork
- The role will require working to the Quality Assurance procedures for the relevant sections

- The role will include Picking goods against Picklists, verifications of picked goods and packing goods for despatch (i.e. order fulfilling)
Requirements
- A general background in Warehouse/Stores.
- Goods Receiving and or Stock control is preferable.
- Clerical and simple PC skills will be required.
- Holder of a Forklift Drivers Certificate would be an advantage or be willing to be trained.

- The role will require the frequent handling & lifting of moderately heavy parcels within the department.
