Part Time Shop Assistant

We are delighted to be working with our global client based in Peterborough, to recruit for the role of 'Part-Time Sales Assistant'

Job Description

● Ensure that sales to public and traders are carried out in a safe, efficient and effective manner
● To ensure that products are sold with due regard to all legal requirements
● Proactively selling appliances by demonstrating product knowledge and key features
● Ensuring that the shop is tidy and presentable at all times
● Generate Trader opportunities as well as building public awareness of the Factory Outlet through
the shop and social media
● Support the physical movement of stock
● Responsible for processing customer orders - Trade and Consumer
● To ensure that sales orders are input into SAP in a timely and accurate manner
● Responsible for working in a safe and effective manner in line with the company Health & Safety
policy
● To maximise all of the revenue opportunities of appliances sales, SDA, Home Care and Deliveries
to maximise the shop's bottom line

Requirements:
● Work every Saturday 9am-3pm & Monday 9am-5pm
● PC literate - Excel knowledge desirable
● Customer Focused
● Good relationship builder
● Good Team Leadership skills
● Proactive
● Experience within the retail sector would be an advantage

Hours
20hrs

Working Hours
Tuesday - 10am - 5pm - 30 mins unpaid bread
Thursday - 10am - 6pm - 30 mins unpaid break
Saturday - 9am - 3pm - 20 mins unpaid break

Hourly rate - £9.25

Paid weekly every Friday
