About the role

Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Training Designer.


The Babcock London Fire Brigade (LFB) Training Partnership provides a range of training and development programmes for all levels of the Service.


You will be responsible for the design and development of high quality, interactive training interventions through, innovative learning solutions which may include face to face, online learning, just in time / micro learning, adaptive or blended solutions made up of a combination of different delivery methods.


Additional responsibilities:
* Manage learning projects from end to end, using effective project and stakeholder management techniques to ensure projects are delivered on time, to a high quality standard, and within agreed budgets.
* Create accurate storyboards and communicate relevant and timely information to the stakeholders and subject matter experts in a way that inspires and engages them in the desired learning solution
* Revise and re-write existing course content in response to stakeholder / delegate feedback
* Create performance and assessment tools to help demonstrate return on investment and value of learning solutions in relation to capability development

What do I need to do the role?
You'll need to have work experience with a Learning & Development/Education - environment, experience using rapid authoring tools - captivate or Gomo platforms and instructional design methodies - approach to developing leads.

What else do I need to know?
* The successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
