Job Title: Senior Field Service Engineer
Location: Devonport - Plymouth and Bristol Hub

Defence Systems Technology - Mission Systems, is a Business Unit that is looking to increase its revenue substantially over the next 5 years. In particular, Complex Assets, Air Defence and Missiles (AD&M) is looking to grow substantially to meet this business strategy. AD&M have multiple projects that require field engineering support based in the UK and deployed in a Contractor Deployed on Operations (CONDO) environment.
Main Purpose of Role
You will provide Field Engineering duties to AD&M projects. The role will be based in Plymouth, Portsmouth, Bristol and an element of CONDO working based upon the project. You will assist AD&M Project Managers, System Engineers and ILS staff in the execution of their duties and provide SQEP Knowledge, Skills and Experience to support AD&M and Complex Assets and the wider Mission Systems business.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Competences
You should have experience in a Field Engineering Environment, in a hands on role, including installation and commissioning of new systems and technologies into service.
You should also have knowledge and experience of the following technologies:
* Virtual Machines
* Routing and Switching
You should have diagnostic ability to fault find in network systems and CONDO experience would be beneficial
Technically qualified to a degree or HNC level in your discipline (Telecommunications Engineering/Networking Engineering).
What else do I need to know?
* The successful candidate will hold, or be eligible to acquire, Security Clearance at the appropriate level for this post.
* Passport, Licences and Qualifications must be shown at interview stage.
