Land Defence - TMASS
About the role
Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Transport Driver to drive, operate and maintain Transport Vehicles and any other vehicles for which qualified in support of the Contract.
As a Transport Driver, your main tasks will include carrying out maintenance tasks as specified in Level 1 publications for vehicle type. You will ensure vehicles are fully 1st paraded and last paraded with any faults reported. You will also carry out nonspecific preparatory work on vehicles including general cleaning, washing and refuelling in order to support customer requirements.
You will have an excellent work life balance within this role and you will be joining a supportive team with potential for development and further training.
What do I need to do the role?
You must have a CAT B driving licence.
We would also like you to have:
- CAT C,D,C+E driving licences would be an advantage, but training will be given.
- Must be flexible and willing to take on responsibilities outside of normal duties where required.
- A customer focused approach.
Lastly, you will need to have good communications skills.
What else do I need to know?
* The successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
