About the role

Within the secure URENCO site at Capenhurst we provide the incident response across the site 24/7, 365. This includes "First Response" in fire, accidents, first aid and security for access and site control. We are recruiting for an Incident Response Manager to manage the team.

What do I need to do the role?

This role would suit an organised hands-on manager with across the board management experience including people management. Experience managing within a first response blue light environment would be beneficial but is not essential. You will be confident in training operational roles, including signing off new officers.

The ideal candidate will have:
* Management experience
* Risk Management experience
* SHEQ experience
* Team performance management
* Knowledge of a positive Security culture

The successful candidate will be expected to:
* Ensure all KPIs are maintained on an ongoing basis
* Ensure all team members are performing as required
* Carry out assurance activities as required
* Manage the URENCO 24/7,365 Incident Response Operation,
* Liaise with customer contacts
* Deputise for the onsite Service Delivery Manager when required to do so
* Create and produce reports in line with customer requirements
* Manage work load and ensure all priorities are achieved
* Carry out development and reviews of all direct reports
* Be competent in managing performance relating to competencies and behaviours

Candidates could come from a Management or Supervisory role with strong people management skills and experience. You will be able to use your skills to encourage achievement and enhance continuous improvement within the team.
The ability to analyse information with logic and solve problems in a dynamic end to end manner would be beneficial to the successful applicant.
