We are looking for problem-solvers for an exciting new opportunity within the ambulance service.
As a scheduler within our Resource Operations Centre (ROC), successful candidates will play a vital role in scheduling operational ambulance shifts across the South West of England. You will be responsible for scheduling our emergency crews, managing absences, planning training, and student placements as well as much more.
You'll have a positive impact on patient care and be supporting our frontline crews, 999 Hub colleagues, and student paramedics.
You'll join the team at Band 3, with a clear development and progression pathway to Band 4, based on your competency, attitude, and ability.
We have fixed-term roles currently available for full-time working.

Who we are looking for;
4 GCSE's (or equivalent) Grade C or above
Evidence of competency in IT or Data entry - such as NVQ in Business Admin, CLAIT, C&G ECDL or equivalent experience
Office and Team working experience
Experience with Microsoft IT package
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with ability to communicate appropriately and with tact and compassion, able to negotiate and deliver contentious information or decisions
Excellent organisational skills and ability to self-motivate, work autonomously and remain focused despite interruption
Excellent team working skills
Excellent accuracy and data input
Aptitude for puzzles and problem solving
Excellent relationship building, able to build and maintain professional and appropriate working relationships
