Permanent position. I am currently recruiting for an excellent role of Maintenance Scheduler at a leading global company based in Middlesbrough. This is a full-time permanent role. Salary is £24,0000 to £28,000 depending on experience.
This role involves
- Supervising and organising contractors in collaboration with the Maintenance Coordinator for the regular servicing of plant equipment.
- Working in close co-operation with the Maintenance Coordinator to purchase the necessary engineering items to maintain the engineering stores.
- To ensure that maintenance calibration and servicing is carried out to a high standard as and when required.
- To ensure that the Computerised Maintenance Management System is maintained and updated monthly.
- To ensure good communication and co-operation within the areas of responsibility and between other departments.
- To keep files, drawings and other engineering documentation filed and up to date.
- Requisition and purchase necessary equipment in accordance with agreed limits and budgets as established by company regulations to ensure the continued working of your area of responsibility.
- To maintain the engineering stores in an efficient and orderly manner, ensuring adequate stocks are always available.
Skills and experience required
- Minimum Of 2 year's experience in the same or similar job role. Engineering experience is preferred
- Self-motivating person who is comfortable working on their own or as part of a team environment.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, SAP or any Maintenance Database Systems
