We have an exciting opportunity available for you to work closely with our Course Designers, Media developers and Subject Matter Experts in the development of modern and effective approaches to content development, both for remote and onsite training.

Who we are looking for?

We are looking for a Digital Learning Advisor who will play a key role in the development of digital media, ensuring the learning experience process considers the full range of method and media available for a blended approach to learning. Ensuring your part in the design system focuses on the technological tools available to enable students to learn and retain knowledge.

What will you be doing?

  • Providing advice, guidance and support on the use of technology in the design and creation of blended learning content
  • Proactively engage with colleagues to offer advice on enhancing teaching and learning through effective and innovative exploitation of existing and emerging technologies
  • Collaborating with Course Design to ensure the application of DSAT (Defence Systems Approach to Training) when developing and selecting methods and media
  • Ensuring learning material is developed and delivered according to the course programme requirements through collaboration with Subject Matter Experts and Course Designers
  • Compliance with SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) when instigating or implementing course design or VLE content changes
  • Conducting checks on all developed e-learning content to ensure full VLE technical compliance

The experience you'll bring

  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification/proven experience working in a digital learning environment
  • Experience of working within a Virtual Learning Environment (preferably Moodle)
  • Pedagogical knowledge
  • Technical understanding of Virtual Learning Environments (preferably Moodle)
  • Ideally experience in using Moodle, and experience in using the Adobe Creative suite is also advantageous
  • Great communicator, who is confident in building relationships with a range of colleagues and stakeholders
