About the role:
Here at Babcock International, we're looking to recruit a Stores Operator to join a great team located at the Royal School of Military Engineering Chatham site.

Main responsibilities include;
* Demanding, issuing and receiving of goods/equipment to assist the school in delivering student training and accounting for it on MOD Accountancy Software (training provided).
* Front of house role requiring good communication skills verbally and written.
* Assist the team in setting up Station Events and deliveries to requested Stores across the School.
* Working as part of a team as well as individually on their own initiative.

This is an excellent opportunity with a healthy work/life balance and is ideal for someone who wishes to be desk based but with variety of being out and about and hands on.

What do I need to do the role?
You must hold a full manual UK driving licence and be fit and able to carry out manual handling activities.

Have a basic understanding of Microsoft Outlook packages.

Good communication and organisational skills.

This position may suit someone from a warehouse/stores/logistics background.

A fork lift truck license would be desirable but not essential as onsite training is available.

What else do I need to know?
Working hours are 37 per week Mon - Friday and we are happy to talk about flexible working. Please ask about alternative patterns of work at interview.
