An exciting opportunity has arisen with our high profile client's National Operations Centre.

Overview

Our client is the UK's largest integrated property services group, offering a complete range of residential property services to enable us to support our customers from the beginning to the end of their property journey. They deliver this through our three operating segments: Sales and Lettings, Financial Services and B2B.

About the role

The successful candidate must be highly organised and diligent, able to operate in a busy and fast-paced environment whilst simultaneously ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards of accuracy. Solid communication skills and the ability to build rapport with different personalities will be essential given the size and diversity of the business.

The National Operations Centre is a fast paced environment responsible for the achieving Lender SLAs in booking valuations for their clients with our 400 plus Surveyors out in the field.

Key tasks and responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development, maintenance and monitoring of reporting from different systems across the organisation, using your analytical skills to spot problems and identify solutions.
  • Demonstrate the ability to find a problem's source and fix any issues, showing excellence in troubleshooting and finding resolutions to issues as they arise.
  • Produce and track key performance indicators in order to ensure optimum performance within the Centre and identify any vulnerable areas.
  • Use the data to identify areas to improve and increase efficiency and the automation of processes where appropriate.
  • Provide advice and information to stakeholders as a first point of contact for data queries, in line with SLA and internal targets.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to relay technical information to all members of the business, showing great interpersonal skills.
  • Possess experience of working with Microsoft SQL Server Databases, strong skills using TSQL and creating reporting solutions using SSRS
  • Come with the confidence to challenge the status quo and develop creative solutions to complex problems
  • Ensure appropriate standards and procedures are adhered to during the development process and understand data management best practice.
  • Be able to maintain and update supporting documentation for the reporting offering, including supporting processes and systems
  • Ensure that the quality and controls are followed and applied consistently and that all internal procedures are fully operational.
  • Undertake all tasks as reasonably requested by the business unit leaders


Position requirements

You must be able to demonstrate your technical experience in the MI field and show enthusiasm for producing high quality work to tight deadlines. You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of reporting solutions as well as providing information and advice on queries received regarding data. You will work with teams from across all areas to identify requirements and use your expertise to translate these in to solutions.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Good academic record
  • Relevant degree or professional qualification and/or experience
  • Previous SQL based reporting experience
  • Experience using the full SQL Server Stack - SSIS/SSRS/SSAS desirable
  • Experience of using Microsoft Power Bi software.
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines, within a demanding working environment
  • High level of skill in using IT systems and software
  • Ability to organise, analyse and present complex data
  • Excellent communication skills
