My client are currently recruiting a credit Support Administrator who will report into the Credit Manager, working from our clients location in Wetherby, West Yorkshire. The successful candidate will work pro-actively providing administrative and analytical support for the Credit & Risk Department

Salary: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year

Monday - Friday 8am - 4.30pm

Main duties and responsibilities

Query handling:

  • Handling complex customer queries, internal investigation and follow up through to resolution stage within a given timescale
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders and customers to conclude all queries in a timely manner
  • Log all incoming queries onto internal database
  • Controlling customer payment deductions (contra's and debit notes)
  • Ensuring requests for documentation are fulfilled to minimise delay to scheduled payment terms (copy invoices / applications and POD's)

Reconciliations and analysis:

  • Preparing monthly full site reconciliation to support application process
  • Identifying and resolving data variations
  • Monthly analysis of customer deductions and query levels reporting

Administration:

  • Preparing monthly backing documentation for application process for submission to customer
  • Fortnightly statement preparation
  • Collating data for analysis

Customer Account & Ledger Maintenance:

  • Daily cash & banking support
  • Update and maintain customer account data as required
  • Ledger allocations

Previous Experience & Key Skills

Previous Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 2 years Credit Control Support experience
  • Knowledge of construction industry (desirable not essential)
  • High volume ledger experience
  • Experience of working in a Credit function with in the manufacturing industry

Key Skills:

  • MS Office Excel to Intermediate level (pivot tables, sum if and lookups)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and strong numeracy skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Adaptable & flexible approach to managing the workload

Systems Experience:

  • MS Office (Excel)
  • Coda (desirable not essential)
  • AS400 (desirable not essential)

Reporting / Management Information

  • Reporting on internal KPI's
  • Root cause analysis on query data
  • Ensure internal systems are accurate and kept up to date
  • Weekly/Monthly objective reporting (team and individual)
