Galvanizing Operative

Our client in Corby is seeking galvanising operative's to start asap. You will work as part of our active galvanising team and be responsible for the process of galvanising products.


Duties will include...

• Prep - hanging onto jigs.Ready for dipping process. Manual lifting.
• Ensuring quality standards of finished products
  
• Hand wire products to Jigs for galvanising
  
• Inspections of products prior to process to ensure quality and safety
  
• Operation of overhead crane equipment
  
• Handling of steel products
  
• Assist in general plant clean up and housekeeping

• Monday to Friday Days
  
• Very heavy lifting required
  
• FLT license desirable
  
• Extremely hot environment
  
• Excellent bonuses
  
• Permanent position's available after 12 weeks
  

Hours...

• 06.00 - 14.30/13.00 - 21.30 - rotates weekly.
• £7.00 per day attendance bonus.
• Overtime offered on Saturday.
• Overtime @ x1/2.
• Paid 8 hours for overtime, even if only work 4 - 6 hours.

Experience working as a galvaniser would be a distinct advantage but not essential as full training can be offered to the correct candidate showing the right attitude.
