Production Planner

We are currently working with a Food Manufacturing business who has been established for over 40 Years, with the family still at the helm of the business as they were since they first started. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Production Planner to join their team permanently

After perfecting their products, the company has grown in success and is now recognised nationally, working with some of UK largest supermarkets and food services. This is a real success story of how the business has gone from strength to strength through the decades.

Do you have experience working as a Production Planner? Do you have knowledge working within a meat packing or meat processing industry? If yes then this could be the ideal position for you!

Duties:

• You will be responsible for the day to day co-ordination of sales, forecasts, stock levels and production capabilities to achieve production plans on schedule
• Produce and maintain 2-week rolling production plans
• Work closely with internal stakeholders including Demand Planners and Commercial sales team
• Liaise with production department to ensure full understanding and adherence to production plans

Experience:

• Experience of FMCG product planning
• Understanding of OTIF & zero waste principles
• Experience of processing FMCG retail customer forecasts.
• Good IT Skills (EXCEL in particular)

This position is working Monday to Friday 14:30 - 23:30, with rotational Sundays morning hours as well.
