A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work for a company that supply cutting edge products throughout the world.
As the company's Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for the successful launch of new products & processes into the production environment. Technical support is also provided to the production function on existing/legacy products and processes.
Day to day you will be involved in the implementation and optimisation of existing production processes, you will identify, develop and implement new bespoke manufacturing equipment and machinery whilst ensuring that new or modified processes have been sufficiently validated. It will also be your responsibility to deliver and implement capital projects.
To be successful in the role you will be educated to degree level or have an HND in a relevant discipline along with demonstrable experience of working in a similar role.
The following qualifications and experience are required to be able to carry out this role:-
Technical knowledge of Quality systems to AS9100, IS09001 standard or similar
Demonstrable skills in the Implementation of LEAN methodologies in a manufacturing environment.
A good understanding of Manufacturing processes (punching/forming/laser welding/testing/extruding)
You will also be confident in utilising software processes including MINITAB, 8D or similar and 3D & 2D CAD
to analyse data accurately and provide solutions
