An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our global FMCG client (the powerhouse behind brands such as Walls, Persil, Magnum and Knorr) as a Data Analyst working on site for 2 days per week if possible and from home until COVID-19 restrictions are lifted therefore could be remote based (in the UK) if willing to travel to Port Sunlight, CH62 4ZD. This is a full-time temporary maternity cover role for 6 months, paying between £41686 and 45855 pro rata, per annum depending on experience.
The companies Responsible Sourcing Policy (RSP) includes a set of Mandatory Requirements which all its suppliers need to meet to be able to do business with us. The RSP is instrumental in ensuring that we delivers its business objectives while making a positive social impact on the lives of millions of people in its supply chains around the world and reducing its environmental impact.
The temporary role created is aimed at looking at the quality and consistency of our supplier data in helping to ensure that we are managing all suppliers in an appropriate way.
Key objectives:
The Responsible Business Assistant will work closely with Procurement and Master Data teams to support the governance of the 'RSP before PO' project, which is the next phase of our RSP programme within the company. By helping to assure the quality of data in our system, we can provide reassurance within the business that all suppliers are managed robustly and that the requirements of the 'Responsible Sourcing and Business Partnering' Code Policy are reinforced.
The role will require someone that can pull insights and information from the large amounts of data relevant to the region and provide usable reports and KPIs for the relevant teams. They will provide the Procurement teams and leadership with clear understanding of the current and upcoming status of the compliance of the suppliers in the geography, looking at various aspects of the programme.
Core skills:
- Degree qualified
- Excellent Excel skills (Pivot tables, vlookups, formulas these will be assessed)
- Proven ability to understand, organise and manipulate mass data
- Experienced in the use of Microsoft systems, especially Microsoft Excel
- Ability to present data findings in a co-ordinated way and provide material to teams that is easily understood
- Confident to develop and communicate with various team members across networks, to drive quality of results
- Passion for completeness and in ensuring robust closure of tasks
