About the role

Here at Babcock International we work with our Military to inspect, service and repair their vehicles. We are looking for a Vehicle Mechanic to be based at an MOD site, Bovington in Wareham.

As the Vehicle Mechanic you will work as part of a team and be responsible for the inspection, servicing, repair and overhaul of military vehicles, assemblies, electrical and general equipment including diagnostic and inspection duties. These will range from light vehicles up to Challengers.

This position has an excellent working environment with flexi time available.

What do I need to do the role?


*First and foremost you'll need to be educated in a Level 3 qualification (NVQ, C&G, HNC, HND) within a related vehicle mechanic discipline.
*You will also have recent experience working as a Vehicle Mechanic, this could be from a military background or a commercial garage.
*A full UK driving licence is also essential.

What else do I need to know?

SC security clearance required and Trade Control related.
