£11.82 per hour
We have an immediate temporary position for a Dispatch Coordinator to join our client who is a leading global paints and coating company. As a Dispatch Coordinator you will play a key role within supply chain ensuring accurate and timely delivery of products to customers.
The Dispatch Coordinator will need to:
- Accurately process shipping customer orders in compliance with transport regulations.
- Issue all necessary shipping documents, including export documents and customs clearance, as applicable.
- Ensure quality of delivery process within the applicable Service Levels Agreements (SLAs), including communication to forwarders and warehouse (internal and external), coordinate transport for returns from customers and participate in root cause analysis for all service issues.
- Administer & control vendor relationships, including forwarder invoices review, transport pricing, and service agreements.
- Liaising with internal departments to facilitate accurate and efficient customer service.
- Undertake other general duties within the role and controlling reporting as needed by the organization.
What we need from you:
- Good level of IT literacy - Excel skills will be required, and a good working knowledge of SAP
- Strong Communication Skills
- Able to work alone or contribute to teams, as required.
