General Operatives / Skilled Operatives

An exciting opportunity has arisen to be working as a Manufacturing/Skilled Operative on site at a leading international automotive business based in their large Factory in Baildon, Shipley. Paying between £11.63 per hour plus the opportunity for overtime, delivering a salary of £22,376 plus overtime. EARLY FINISH FRIDAYS!!

Commutable from Bradford and West Leeds-

WEEKLY PAY EVERY FRIDAY - ONGOING WITH OPPORTUNITY FOR A PERMANENT POSITION

Static Weekday Nights

Monday to Thursday 10pm - 6am & Friday 4pm - 9pm = £11.63 per hour

As a Skilled Operative, your responsibilities will be:

• Working in the production area
• Working with machinery and heavy-duty industrial equipment
• Working on various machines and tools to form and produce high quality automotive parts
• Ensuring all parts are produced to high quality standards and to customer timescales
• Assembling automotive components & Manual Handling
• Adhering to health and safety
• Following plans & build and manufacturing processes
• Working with potentially heavy items

*Full training will be provided*

The ideal candidate:

• Previous experience in a production or assembly environment
• Machine operative experience / Factory experience
• Manual handling (ability to lift/carry heavy loads)
• Good work ethic - attendance & timekeeping.
• Effective timekeeping
• Testing products
• Good communication skills - strong written & verbal English/maths
• The ability to learn and develop new skills.
• An eye for detail
• An ability to work well within a team.
