Job description

My client insures multiple sectors therefore a background or some insurance knowledge/experience in this field is a requirement of the role.

Working in a busy fast paced environment there are several key attributes required to be considered for this role:

A strong understanding of insurance and policy wording is essential when determining if the insured party is covered when assessing a claim.

Taking detailed particulars of each claim from the client/insured party as to the circumstances of the claim.

Knowledge of determining the nature of incident, ascertaining medical details to obtain Veterinary Certificates and also a strong understanding of animal/livestock valuations.

Requesting photographic evidence.

Liaising with Insurers to notify them of the claim and supplying external bodies with all relevant documentary evidence.

Reporting and keeping the insured client informed of a claims progress.

Assisting with any queries.

Knowledge of Acturis would be a distinct advantage, however full training will be given.

Accuracy and attention to detail when using the in-house client management system

To be organised with a strong ability to work effectively under pressure

Initiative with a can do attitude

Understanding confidentiality and GDPR laws

To be flexible in your approach

A strong desire to fulfil a key role in a fast-paced organisation

In return you will receive:

£25,000 - £30,000 salary

5 weeks paid holiday per annum plus Bank Holidays
