Shop Sales Assistant

I am delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client within Peterborough for a part time shop sales assistant.

Payrate - £9.25 Working between Tuesday and Saturday

Job role



To assist with the selling of graded and end of line products through the factory graded centre in Peterborough, achieving the target margin and volumes.



To assist with the day to day running of the Peterborough Graded Shop.



● Ensure that sales to public and traders are carried out in a safe, efficient and effective manner



● To ensure that products are sold with due regard to all legal requirements



● Proactively selling appliances by demonstrating product knowledge and key features



● Responsible for filling the shop floor with all stock

• Ensuring that the shop is tidy and presentable at all times

● Generate Trader opportunities as well as building public awareness of the Factory Outlet through the shop and social media



● Support the physical movement of stock



● Support with managing stocks effectively ensuring that accuracy is 100%

• Responsible for processing customer orders - Trade and Consumer

● To ensure that sales orders are input into SAP in a timely and accurate manner



● Responsible for working in a safe and effective manner in line with the company Health & Safety policy



● To maximise all of the revenue opportunities of appliances sales, SDA, Home Care and Deliveries to maximise the shop's bottom line

Requirements for the role



● PC literate - Excel knowledge desirable



● Customer Focussed



● Good Relationship Builder



● Good Team Leadership skills



● Proactive



● Experience within the retail sector would be an advantage

• Driving licence preferable but not essential

Hours of work

Tues, Weds & Fri - 9am-5pm

Thursday 9am-6pm

Saturday 9am-3pm

Monday & Sunday - Day's off
