Process Plant Operator - Bradford - PERM

Manpower is currently recruiting for 2 x Process Pant Operatives for our busy client based in Bradford just on Euroway Industrial Estate.

Please note this is Permanent role

We are looking for candidates with previous similar experienced who can ideally start work immediately.

The Skills, Qualifications And Experience You Will Have

• Previous process plant experience
• Practical knowledge of computerised operating systems
• Willingness to contribute new ideas and take a proactive role in improving our workplace
• Strong work ethic
• Proficient with IT systems
• Behave as a proactive team member focused on the delivery of business objectives
• Work under own initiative and demonstrate a calmness under pressure
• Knowledge and/or practice of 5S/Lean principles desirable, but not essential

In this role you will be accountable for:

• Identifying and taking ownership of any process improvements or discrepancies in line with Lean Principles.
• Compliance with all statutory and company systems, standards, and procedures to ensure a safe and environmentally acceptable operation.
• Having a thorough understanding of and full compliance with the site quality systems and procedures to maintain our high-quality standards.
• To assist in Non-Conformance root cause analysis investigations and reporting.
• To record all damage and report it using site procedures, suggesting countermeasures to decrease damage frequency on site.

• Beyond general warehouse duties such as unloading and loading our Customers products, you will be required to book-in product and provide excellent Customer service when contacting our Customers.

• To identify, verify and label customer's product and place the correct dosimeters in conjunction with standard operating procedures.
• Process all Customer's product in line with special instructions and processing parameters.
• Take an active role in idea generation for improving our H&S standards, whilst always putting Safety First.
• As part of the team constantly improve the Site 5S Standards throughout the duration of the shift and implement Lean principles to improve our workplace. Assist in regular planned 5s Audits and action follow up.
