The Crane and Refuel Equipment Maintenance Organisation (CREMO) have a vacancy for a CREMO Support Engineer to work in the Crane and Refuel Equipment Maintenance sections. You'll work within a team of 3 or 4 other Support Engineers and a Senior Support Engineer.

Who we are looking for?

We are looking for a Support Engineer to provide materials and carry out planning as well as providing day to day support to Scaffolders and Sub-Contractors. You'll need to understand engineering (either electrical or mechanical), understand drawings etc., be able to find defective part as well as sourcing and ordering ensuring this rectifies the problem.

What will you be doing?
* To plan maintenance, upgrade and repair activities for Crane and Refuel equipment and assets, making sure everything is in place so that Maintenance teams can do their work;
* To support the Maintenance teams deliver maintenance, upgrade and repair activities, on site and on the assets;
* To support unplanned events (breakdowns, trips, etc.) and contribute to problem solving activities, containments permanent corrective actions;
* To identify spares and equipment needed for maintenance, upgrade and repair activities and, to support the Materials Engineer source and procure identified items;
* Liaise with stakeholders in CREMO and external to CREMO in the context of maintenance, upgrade and repair activities and ensure their expectations are understood and addressed appropriately;
* To act as Technical Representative for sub-contracted works and to lead all actions related to sub-contractor involvement in CREMO operations;


The experience you'll bring

Lifting and crane experience is not essential. They have a training programme in this to get them up to speed.
* Level 3 Engineering Qualification
* Basic engineering skills, reading drawings.
* Need to be able to work on site and at height (on cranes)
* You will need to satisfy security requirements. This may require you to hold or be eligible/capable of achieving 'Security Check' (SC) clearance.
