Operative - Gas Cylinder Refurbishment

I have superb opportunity for an operative to work for a national gas bottle/cylinder provider based in Staveley, Cumbria. The role is working on a production line refurbishment of gas cylinder bottles. De gassing, taking apart, cleaning, spray painting & assembly.

About the role:

The position will involve working on varying areas of the refurbishing plant to ensure suitable job rotation is achieved.
Various training periods apply to different roles and the successful applicant will be required to pass the appropriate training before progressing to the next level.

** This is a 6 month contract with other opportunities available after training**

Daily Duties:

• De-gassing of cylinders
  
• Purging of cylinders
  
• De-valving of cylinders
  
• Transportation of cylinders around site
  
• Loading & unloading cylinders
  
• Paint spraying of cylinders - manual operation in purpose-built booth
  
• Re-valving and pressure testing of cylinders
  
• Inspection of cylinders
  
• Working in accordance with all H&S requirements

Salary:

£18,907 working 40 hours per week at £9.09ph (overtime paid at time & a half), Mon - Fri 6am-2:30pm plus an extensive benefits package
