We have an exciting opportunity to join a world-leading bank, working full-time on a temporary contract as an Administration Officer. The role is based in Whiteley, Fareham and will be on-site with the potential to work from home.

What you’ll need to do:

  • The role is based within the Strategic Deployment team, you will be responsible for undertaking a variety of processing tasks requested by the Wealth team, primarily dealing with the receipt and processing of customer instructions to transfer out/close.
  • Support the team administratively, with strong organisational skills and a focus on attention to detail.
  • As this is an administration role (not customer facing), you will not be directly responsible for people management and will work within the Operations team who support these processes.

What we’ll need from you:

  • The ability to take ownership, using your own initiative.
  • To work Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm.
  • Availability to attend 2-4 weeks of on-site training at the Whitely office.
  • Availability to start the role on 10th January.
  • A commitment to working in the role with an 9/10/22 end date.

Benefits

  • Pay £14.00 per hour.
  • Training: 2 – 4 weeks depending on the process.
  • The possibility of working overtime.

Desired (but not essential) Experience & Skills

  • Administration experience in a financial services environment.
  • Ability to work as part of a small motivated team.
  • Have the ability to support and/or guide colleagues.
  • Have an awareness of the market for Investment Products.
  • Knowledge of FCA and HMRC regulations.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines with changing priorities.
  • Attention to detail whilst maintaining high volume of work.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, together with excellent customer focus.
  • Excellent organisation skills.
