Senior Accountant

Manpower are currently looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a busy client in Gravesend, Kent.


This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established business where you will have the ability to develop and progress, working closely with the Directors and a small accounts function.


The duties of the role will include:

• Preparing month and year end accounts
• Preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparation of statutory accounts and VAT returns
• Planning work and meeting deadlines
• Assisting with the training of junior members of staff, including reviewing work
• Dealing with company queries
• Assisting with invoicing or tracking purchase order numbers
• Producing regular financial reports, such as budgets or cash flow forecasts

This role is most suitable for someone with the following skills and experience:

• Qualified ACA or ACCA - QBE or experienced part-qualified will also be considered
• Proven relevant experience (8-10 years at Accountant level)
• Experience using Sage and CargoWise software
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
