Here at Babcock International, we are looking to recruit a Facilities Manager to join the team onsite at DSG Donnington while providing remote support to Tewkesbury.

What will you be doing?

As a Facilities Manager you will have line management responsibilities for a team of six direct reports. You will be responsible for managing all external contractors to ensure work is delivered in line with contractual standards. You will also be responsible for managing work-order request life-cycles from receipt to closure (review, quotations, works conducted, sign off of works, work order closed).

You will further assist in managing FM budget allocation and budget setting, as well as FM service reviews (local to sites and FM function wide as required). You will be the responsible person for statutory controls including legionella and asbestos. You will manage the tasking of local general hands with required routine work-to tasks through system.

What do I need to do the role?

You will need previous Facilities Management experience. You will also need to be Asbestos & Legionella responsible person trained.

The following would also be desirable:

• Knowledge of the Defence Sector.
• Previous line management experience.
• Mechanical & Electrical background.
• Knowledge of CAFM.
• Great IT skills including MS Office.

Lastly, you will need excellent communication skills.

What else do I need to know?

• There will be a requirement to travel once every fortnight to Tewkesbury.
• We are happy to talk about flexible working. Please ask about alternative patterns of work at interview.
• The successful candidate will need to satisfy Ministry of Defence security requirements. This may require you to hold or be eligible/capable of achieving 'Security Check' (SC) clearance.
